The Upper Room Thrift Shop relies on volunteers to complete its mission. Anyone is welcome to volunteer. Workers are needed to help sort, tag, price and bag items as well as to serve as cashiers. The shop is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 until 2:00. Two and four-hour shifts are available. Volunteers from teenagers (with parental permission) to adults are welcome. Anyone interested in this rewarding form of community service is encouraged to observe the shop in action to see how its work is done with fun and dignity for all.
