Todd Gorski has two degrees in music education from Western Connecticut State University (B.S. 2003, M.S. 2006). At WCSU, he studied piano with Howard Tuvelle and Susan Anthony-Klein and voice with Perry Price. He previously served as Music Director at Grace Congregational Church, Farmington (1995-2005), Church of the Epiphany, Southbury (2006-2011), Bethel United Methodist Church, Bethel (2011-2016) and returned to this church to serve as Music Director again in 2017. He was a music teacher at the Fraser-Woods School in Newtown (2003-2004), music teacher in the Bethel, CT school system from 2004-2015 where he directed the middle school choirs, musically directed middle school musical productions and accompanied the high school choirs in concerts and adjudications. He joined Region 14 (Woodbury/Bethlehem) in 2015 as a library media specialist, but quickly became involved with the music department. He taught music at Nonnewaug High School and Woodbury Middle School, accompanied Nonnewaug’s choirs in concerts and adjudicated festivals, and musically directed Cinderella, Bye Bye Birdie, Footloose and Into the Woods. In September of 2018, he joined the music faculty at Woodbury Middle School and is excited to be teaching world drumming, ukulele and digital music as part of a new spread of courses.
